We are looking for a confident, articulate senior HR professional who shares our view of the absolute value of empirical decision-making, and who can make a clear, concise case for change. While you need significant experience at HRD level and must be analytically strong, you must show that you can also deliver pragmatic, concrete support to the business, with an inbox that will contain as many (if not more) tactical tasks as conceptual.
We expect to hear from candidates with a comparable academic and professional profile to our team. Your ability to operate as a peer of the senior management team will be the key to your success in influencing decisions and making an impact. But that doesn’t mean we want ‘our idea’ of an HRD: a major attribute of the successful candidate will be that you’ll bring experience, insight and knowledge from contexts that are new to us.
A member of the executive committee, with responsibility for a lean UK-based team, this is a global HR role, and there will beoccasional travel to our four overseas offices. An understanding of government, research, policy and / or blue-chip consulting is essential, and experience of making the transition from start-up to SME will be a distinct advantage.
If you would like to arrange an informal discussion about the role or the process, please contact Shani Newbold at Cadence Partners on +44 20 7947 4960 or email email@example.com
